5 Vegas Series A Archetype

This is anohter cigar I recently had in a blind taste test.

I had the Toro version, 6 X 50

Initial Impressions:This was another toro sized cigar with some cedar wrapped around it. It had a maduro wrapper that wasn't exactly pretty to look at with some discoloration, but it was very oily. The cigar was firm to the touch, no soft spots. A mild pre-light aroma came off this cigar.

Smoking: It took a little while to get this lit because it seemed the filler at the foot wasn't bunched properly. Otherwise, the cigar had a perfect draw, perfect burn, and smoked cool and slow with no over-heating. The wrapper behaved well and did not crack or unravel. Excellent construction on this cigar.

Taste: This cigar was in the medium to full range and was 100% smooth, no harshness. It started out with a very hearty tobacco flavor that was sweet and I could definetly get a lot of cedar taste as well. The finish was very full and sweet and stayed on the palate a long time. About 2 inches in I began to get a lot of cocoa-like taste to the cigar as well and a very nice sweetness, the finish remained sweet and began to develop a sort of wood-like taste, not cedar though. About halfway through, however, the tastes began to get a little neutral and I could not pick up the complexity anymore. The cigar had a full and sweet aroma while smoking.

Conclusion: This was a very good tasting cigar that had perfect construction. Very pleasant taste all the way down to the nub. A very good smoking experience, I would give this cigar a 4 to a 4.5 on the previous scale.

Best news is that you can have these and the other sizes for about $3-$4 per cigar:
