This is a good start-up list for people getting interested in cigars.
For Cigar Information:
A lot of places online to get information on cigars, here are two I think everyone to start out with.
1. www.cigarcyclopedia.com - Has a lot of basic information on cigars, humidors, etc. The best feature is the comparison shopper where you can compare prices between different vendors. Lots of other cigar-related news and information.
2. www.cigarasylum.com - If you want to take your knowledge and experience of cigars to the next level then I recommend you join this online cigar forum/community. Very friendly to people who are new to cigars and those more experienced as well. A wealth of information, a great place to get questions answered.
For Buying Cigars:
Again, a lot of online cigar vendors and retailers to choose from. These are the three that I have found to be the best.
1. www.cigarsinternational.com - A very good site with a big selection of smokes, look around for free shipping discounts online. Always have good customer service. You can find some pretty good deals on cheap and off-brand stuff here. Lots of good samplers to start out with. Check out the companion site www.joecigar.com for daily deals.
2. www.famous-smoke.com - Another very good site with just about every major non-cuban brand you can imagine. Good prices, not as many deals as cigarsinternational, but you can still find some deals. Offers five-packs of cigars and boxes. Check out the companion site www.cigarmonster.com for daily deals.
3. www.seriouscigars.com - This is another good sight with free-shipping on some select brands plus you can by single cigars here as well. Great customer service.
For Cigar Equipment/Storage:
You'll eventually find that of you continue to smoke cigars you'll need to properly store them, cut them and light them as well. This is the best site for this kind of stuff
